Admissions:

The ALP admission policies for 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 can be found below. 

Central Primary School is a three form entry (90 pupils per year group) split across two sites: 

Lower site – Early Years and KS1, Upper Site – KS2 

Nursery Admissions

To apply for a place in our nursery, please request an application form from the School Office or you can download one below. Please complete the form and return it to school. We usually have three intakes per year and children join the nursery in the term after they turn three (September, January and April).  For further information, see admissions policy. 

Reception Admissions

To apply for a place in Reception, please visit the Northumberland County Council website:https://www.northumberland.gov.uk/Education/Schools/School-admissions-places-appeals-1.aspx#schooladmissionplacesandappeals   or ring the Admissions Team on 01670 624889. 

We are holding an open evening for parents looking to apply for a Reception place for their child at Central Primary starting September 2025. This is being held at the lower site on Thursday November 21 from 4pm to 5pm. If you wish to attend, please complete the registration form https://forms.gle/SgH5deM4i5njQJxJ7
